Jimmy Fallon took a break from kicking ass on late night TV to hang out with some friends at a bar in the East Village of NYC. According to reports, Fallon inadvertently got himself caught in the middle of a bar brawl that broke out near him … and thankfully, he managed to walk away unscathed. As I understand it, Jimmy was “peripherally involved” in the altercation but didn’t get hurt and managed to get the Hell out without incident.
A late-night talk show host walked into a bar and — luckily, this doesn’t end with a punch line. But “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon was rattled Thursday when a brawl broke out around him at East Village rock club Niagara. “Fallon was pretty shaken up,” a source close to him told the Daily News. “He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and chaos erupted around him” … A source close to Fallon, 39, said he stopped by Niagara just as a band was wrapping up and the fight was breaking out. A witness said Fallon was peripherally involved in the 10:30 p.m. imbroglio, but his connection to the combatants, if any, remained unclear. Fallon was not hurt according to witnesses … Fallon’s exit was swift after the mini melee. What became of the combatants is unclear. Both the star’s reps and the bar’s owners declined to comment.
Ha. This rules. I mean, it sucks that Jimmy was almost involved in a serious altercation but it sounds like he held his own and managed to get out of the situation with a funny story to tell friends. I’m glad to hear that he wasn’t hurt. I’m also glad to hear that Jimmy can’t be pushed around by any ruffians. Haha. Good on ya, Jimmy.
