Congratulations are in order for reality TV stars Kandi Burruss and her loverman Todd Tucker from The Real Housewives of Atlanta because today we learn that the couple went and got married yesterday! Fans of RHOA know very well that Kandi‘s mother Joyce has never been a fan of Todd‘s and it seemed possible that her dislike for the man might lead to heartbreak for Kandi. Thankfully, that appears not to be the case. Against all odds (well, against Mama Joyce, actually), Kandi and Todd made it down the aisle and successfully said their I Dos.
In Touch can exclusively confirm that Kandi Burruss has said “I do!” A rep for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirms to In Touch that Kandi and the TV producer wed in a beautiful ceremony in Atlanta on April 4. “This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me,” Kandi exclusively tells In Touch. “And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!” The couple met in 2011, during filming of the fourth season of the hit Bravo reality series and got engaged January 2013. Kandi has one daughter, Riley, 11, from a previous relationship. This is the first marriage for Todd. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Kandi and Todd met while filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta … she was a star on the show, Todd was a producer. In spite of all of Mama Joyce’s attempts to break up the couple, it looks like love has won out in the end. I have a feeling that we will be seeing Kandi and Todd’s nuptials on the next season of RHOA and I am REALLY looking forward to seeing A.) if Mama Joyce attended the wedding and B.) if she did, how she handled herself.
