While I wasted some time on Facebook today I came up on a really fantastic 80s commercial for Star Wars Underoos (thanks Tony) and loved it so much, I thought it would be fun to share for Throwback Thursday today. I used to LOVE wearing Underoos as a kid. In fact, it was my life’s mission from the ages of 8-10 to ONLY wear Underoos underwear. For those of you unfamiliar, Underoos were underwear sets (t-shirts and matching underwear) that were themed to look like super hero costumes (like Superman, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman) or movie character outfits (like any character from Star Wars). Up until the invention of Underoos (and in all the years since, I might add), underwear used to be so boring. I used to wear my Batman Underoos around the house, pretending I was the caped crusader (with a towel tied around my neck since Underoos didn’t come with capes, unfortunately).
