Last month we learned that Miley Cyrus teamed up with Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips to record a cover of the Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (while she was “high as f*ck”, mind you) and today we learn that she has recorded at least one other Beatles song, too. Coyne is working on a re-imagining of the Beatles album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band made up of cover recordings and it would appear that Miley is featured on at least two songs from that album. Yeahhhhhh, I dunno. I’m not sure if Beatles and John Lennon fans are really going to love cover versions of these songs sung by Miley Cyrus but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. I have to admit, I am curious to find out which other artists are featured on the Sgt. Peppers redux project. As for Miley‘s inclusion, what do you think?
